Virginia Key Beach Park Trust Welcomes Commissioner Covo

The Virginia Key Beach Park Trust welcomes Commissioner Covo to the City of Miami Commission and the Virginia Key Beach Park Board of Trustees.

Mrs. Sabina Covo has been a long-time resident of Miami and has seen firsthand some of the issues that affect the City of Miami. As a recent addition to the City of Miami Commission she brings invaluable experience as an investigative reporter not only to the commission, but as well as the Virginia Key Beach Park Trust. Mrs. Sabina Covo wants to make sure the City of Miami is built for the future and is prepared to take on issues such as climate change and sea level rise, an issue that affects Historic Virginia Key Beach Park daily.

As well as becoming involved in the political sphere of Miami Mrs. Sabina Covo has many years of volunteer experience with Sharing for Kids, a nonprofit that focuses on social development programs for kids in Cartagena, Colombia.
