Sunset Salute Sherrelle Sue Germain

This month the Virginia Key Beach Park Trust salutes the late Sherrelle Sue Germain.

Mrs. Sherrelle Germain was the wife of former trustee, Miguel Germain, as well as a trustee herself. Born in Alabama, she moved to Miami in the late 1960’s where she spent the rest of her life. She advocated for members of the community, ensured people were treated fairly, and was a loving and compassionate person to others. She was known to write poetry which was published in The Miami Herald
