Historic Virginia Key Beach Park, located off the Rickenbacker Causeway, is just minutes away from the Miami’s downtown financial centers, top tourist destinations, sport facilities, retail, dining and renowned educational institutions.

OUR HISTORY

The story begins in 1896. This was the year the City of Miami was founded with approximately one-third of the signatures of the city charter being black men (which was no accident considering their predominant role in the early building of the city).

Recreation Hours of Operation: Open 7:00 am – Sunset Seven days a week (except Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day)

FACILITY RENTAL

All venues at Historic Virginia Key Beach Park are available to rent for private and corporate events such as weddings, children’s parties, reunions, and organization picnics

With a local festival I volunteered with car parking in exchange for event entry tickets. A great exchange of energy!! I’d recommend giving back whenever possible.

I had an awesome time donating time to the beach clean up. We learnt so much while helping the natural flora & fauna.I’ll definitely do it again.
