Small Event Criteria

Small events (e.g., birthdays, baby showers, family reunions) must follow strict limitations:

  • Maximum attendance of 150 people.
  • No admission or ticket fees can be charged to guests.
  • No on-site food or beverage sales.
  • No excessively loud (DJ) music or large sound systems.
  • No spatial infringement beyond the designated/reserved area.
2

Large Special Events

If an event plans to violate or exceed any of the Small Event limits above, it is legally classified as a Large Special Event. It must adhere to separate governing policies and requires a Special Events permit obtained in advance.
3

Special Permits

Advanced permits are required for speeches, demonstrations, exhibitions, concerts, parades, dances, or overnight tent camping. These permits will explicitly define limitations on hours, attendance, and equipment.
4

Enforcement Notice

All permittees must comply with these rules as well as City, County, and Federal laws. Any infraction, violation of small event guidelines, or misuse of property constitutes cause for immediate permit revocation and event termination by Park Staff or the Police.
