On August 1st, the Historic Virginia Key Beach Park community along with hosted summer camps, city officials and members of the public came together to celebrate Historic Virginia Key Beach Park Day and its 78th anniversary. By celebrating this day, they celebrated its historical, cultural and environmental significance.
The celebration consisted of a cake and ice cream party, accompanied by games and many moments of joy. It was a sweet celebration of the park’s legacy and its role in promoting inclusivity, diversity, and perseverance in the community.
