Recently the Virginia Key Beach Park Trust hosted a community visioning workshop to discuss the updates and planning process for establishing the long awaited Civil Rights Museum.
For many it was a rekindling of fond memories and familiar faces. The community came out and shared their thoughts and views to what they would like to see come to fruition.
The design firm LORD Cultural Resources was also in attendance to hear the views from all stakeholders. Stay tuned for upcoming workshops.
