Issues Are Prominent, Let’s Talk About Them…
Virginia Key Beach Park Trust Hosts #MyMiamiStory Panel Discussion
WHAT: My Miami Story, a panel discussion hosted by the Virginia Key Beach Park Trust to get Miamians to take ownership of issues they care about. Whether it’s making sure our kids get a good education, having safe public spaces to recreate, or landing a job that’s close to home, these conversations are about sharing ideas of what makes Miami so unique.
WHO: Key Miamians, many of whom have seen the growth in Historic Virginia Key Beach Park and Miami in general, will share over 70 years of rich Miami history. These guests come from a wide range of careers, from former politicians to legendary music artists. Panelists include Mr. Gene Dinizulu Tinnie, Chairman of Virginia Key Beach Park Trust, Alex Finnie of WPLG Channel 10 News, Matt Haggman former Project Director of the Knight Foundation and Dwight Bullard of the New Florida Majority.
WHY: Last year, 3,000 Miamians came together in homes, schools, restaurants and parks to join the biggest community conversation. Join the Virginia Key Beach Park Trust as we host a conversation to share the memories of Virginia Key Beach; Past, Present and Future.
