Take a free Eco-History tour of Historic Virginia Key Beach Park, a famous beach destination for people of color during the 1940s and 50s. Learn about the park's history, landmarks, and nature while enjoying a guided tour. Tours are available on Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays. Go back in time and experience Miami’s most famous beach get-a-way attraction for people of color during the 1940’s & 50’s. Book a FREE Eco-History (Ecological + History) Tour to experience what makes this historic hidden gem so unique. Enjoy a guided beach tour of historic landmarks, amusement rides and nature all while learning about the soldiers who trained here, early native tribes who settled here, famous icons who visited here and the summer cottages where many families stayed when they visited.

Tours are held on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays from 10 AM-10:45 AM and 2 PM-2:45 PM.
