Historic Virginia Key Beach Park partnered with Debris Free Oceans and Wynwood Brewery for a volunteer beach clean-up to remove debris left by Hurricane Irma. This effort helped reopen the last sections of the park’s shoreline.

Historic Virginia Key Beach Park (HVKBP) will be closed to the public on January 25th, 26th, and 27th, 2019 for a special event. They apologize for any inconvenience and can be contacted for more information.

Meet the Artist – Stina Aleah

Join us for a VIP reception and solo exhibition featuring the work of Stina Aleah, a national and international visual artist and oil painter. Take a free Eco-History tour of Historic Virginia Key Beach Park, a famous beach destination for people of color during the 1940s and 50s. Learn about the park’s history, landmarks, and nature while enjoying a guided tour. Tours are available on Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays.
