Join SeaKeepers at Historic Virginia Key Beach Park for a Creepy Crawly Halloween Cleanup on Sunday, October 26, from 9 AM – 12 PM. Wear your favorite costume and participate in the coastal cleanup, pumpkin carving and a costume contest for a day full of fun and conservation.

In order to participate in the cleanup, all volunteers must complete the mandatory Liability and Appearance Release Waiver. Waiver completion is a requirement to volunteer with us, and doing the waiver ahead of time will speed the check-in process.

All volunteers who show up in a halloween costume will be eligible to compete in the costume contest at the end of the cleanup! After doing their part for our ocean, we encourage volunteers to partake in the pumpkin carving activity organized by the team at Historic Virginia Key Beach Park.

Volunteers should bring:

• Their best halloween costume
• Water in a reusable water bottle (no plastic please!)
• Hat and/or sunglasses
• Sunscreen and bug spray

We will provide:

• Gloves and pickers
• Buckets and bags
• Water refills
• Community service hours
