Our favorite beach on our trip to Miami. On a weekday we had the beach to ourselves and cheap parking. Found FANTASTIC shells and spent several hours enjoying the water and wildlife. Saw puffer fish and a jumping manta ray. Highly recommend if you’re a sheller or want a quiet place to enjoy the outdoors.

Plenty of biodiversity, watershoes are a must. Lots of jacks, puffers, snappers and barracuda. Queen conchs are also a regular find. The tables are closer to the water than most beaches. Mosquitoes however, can get insane at this particular beach. Definitely come prepared with mosquito spray as the parking lot and picnic areas often get flooded ...
