Junior Ambassadors

What is the Junior Ambassador Program?

The Miami Waterkeeper Junior Ambassador program is a year-long program (with optional extension) that develops a cohort of young environmental leaders in South Florida. Through the Junior Ambassador program, these students will become community leaders by sharing their knowledge of issues impacting Biscayne Bay and the surrounding watershed and helping to organize volunteer events. This program will help students develop an understanding of the complex relationship between social, environmental, governmental, and economic issues that are central to cultivating a culture of environmental awareness and advocacy in South Florida.
